In the last week, art auction sales have broken two records. The first going to Edvard Munch’s The Scream (1895) which sold for $119.9 million (USD) on May 2nd breaking the record for most expensive piece of art sold. The next being Mark Rothko’s 1961 oil painting Orange, Red, Yellow which became the most expensive piece of contemporary art sold for $87 million (USD). I bet you think that $3360 Patrick Markle is a steal of a deal now!
